Harmful UV, ultraviolet light rays, on artwork is cumulative and irreversible. Fortunately, glass technology has improved vastly. There are now several types of glass to protect artwork from the harmful effects of UV rays.

We recommend and use TruGuard® brand glass, including Conservation Clear, Conservation Ultraclear, Conservation Reflection Control, Conservation Prefect Vue, and Museum Glass to protect delicate and sensitive artwork.

Keep in mind; once damage from UV light has occurred, it can never be reversed. It is important to understand what can be done to minimize and prevent this type of damage. Ask us about frame glass before installing or replacing glass.
